Strandberg Guitars

Good afternoon!

It's no secret that I love Strandberg Guitars as I've owned and used these guitars exclusively over the past year and a half. Just this year Strandberg has introduced 5 new models to their production line (not including artist models): the Classic, Original, Metal, Fusion and Prog. These new models are all a follow-up to the popular OS Model, which I own 2 myself. It's important to note that these new models are all ergonomically designed instruments and come in 6, 7 or 8 string configurations.

I love these guitars because they are made to be lightweight, balanced and feature a proprietary neck profile called the Endureneck. They're the most comfortable guitar I've personally ever played and find them to be a real game changer. I can't recommend them enough.

These guitars are a bit on the pricey side, but the Classic model that I previously mentioned is aimed at offering the same body shape and features of the more expensive models at a lower price point.

If you're interested in these guitars and have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Top 10 Best Multi-Effects Pedals

Good afternoon!

I've had lots of inquiries lately from several students who have been interested in different effects for electric guitar. Today's blog features a resource I came across that has a lot of good info on some of the entry-level priced pedals if you are looking to expand your sound even for daily practice. I've owned and used many many pedals and processors over the years so if you need help selecting one or want my personal choices leave a comment or contact me!

Strum Pattern for the Beginner Guitar Player

Good afternoon!

For those of you that don't know, I used to do a video series for the Guitar World Acoustic site titled Sunday Strum where each week I posted a video that highlights a new skill that guitar players can start to introduce to their every day practice time.

Today I'm featuring the first video in that series that highlights some great tips for beginners to learn an easy strum pattern in 3/4 time! I take you step-by-step so that you can confidently add another skill to your guitar playing resume.

The lessons get a little more complex as you go so be sure to take your time as you start to pick up each new skill!

Helpful Tips to Avoid a Trip to the Guitar Tech

There's nothing worse than having to take your guitar to get worked on. Thankfully, many of the issues that can potentially impact your guitar are actually completely preventable. Today's blog features a very useful article to save written by Matthew Stross of Reverb.

Stross mentions this in his article, and I completely agree that one of most important tips is controlling the humidity level - especially with acoustic instruments. The article does advertise various products, but my favorite way to regulate the humidity is the Boveda Starter Kit. Click HERE to check it out.
